Video readings survey question

Published April 7, 2020 by Donnalee of Kingston NY

I am wondering if it would be of interest to folks to have video readings with me. Due to (my) technology, it might only show the cards and my hands and you’d hear my voice but probably not be able to see my face looking at you while I am telling you sincere stuff or laughing etc. Would that be okay, or seem too distant, or…?

My concerns about doing it only over voice phones would be 1) you can’t see the cards, and I use a lot of unusual ones sometimes, so it’s important for people to be able to see them if they are sighted/not blind or visually-impaired (otherwise describing them can take a longer time and use up some of the reading time), and 2) many folks tend to get distracted and browse other things while on the phone, and as an empath, it bugs me when I know it’s happening, and it seems like a waste of good money to not focus fully on a reading while the reading is happening.

I’d love to hear ideas on this theme, or sort of near these themes, even from those who are not clients.  If you are a reader who has distance techniques that work or don’t work that you are willing to share, that’d be great too.

Thanks and best wishes

  • I’d love to get a reading and I’d pay you for it I’d love to do it over zoom or skype or whatever video software you are using. I think its a great idea. I’m all for it and would do it in a heartbeat. You can email me about it. xoxo

  • Hi. Greetings. I think that would work great. Of course I’d rather see the cards in front of me consistently. I would personally, therefore very much endorse just keeping them on the screen. Thanks!
