This lovely young musician Caleb Quaye (nephew of the Caleb Quaye of early Elton John band fame and about whom there is some new movie apparently), passed about a year ago on July 7, 2023, by his own hand. He was depressed about loss of a girlfriend and the slow progress of his music career, among other things, and had had many hardships in his life but was trying so hard to overcome them. Sadly, that did not prove possible and so he passed at age 24.

I think it would be the kindest gift we as people still alive could give him to repost this genuinely beautiful song of his.

He always lived in the shadow of his very-famous uncle and less-famous-but-had-one-hit-in-the-90s absentee father, Finley Quaye, and I want Caleb to be known for being HIMSELF on his own merits.

Please enjoy and pass it along if you think it worthwhile–I was truly pleased that it is such a touching song, so sincere and melodic, and I have fantasies that it will become very popular and enioyed by many all over the world and that his story will become known. I think he would love that.
