See new page about what to expect from a reading with me

Published December 30, 2019 by Donnalee of Kingston NY

I do not see that this sent itself out to the readers, so please forgive me if it did. I just wrote https://laughingdakinitarot.com/what-to-expect-during-a-reading-with-me/ to help people get an idea of what to expect from my in-person readings.

Check it out.

Positive money results from candle service again

Published December 29, 2019 by Donnalee of Kingston NY

I had been taking a break from doing the candles for a few months due to being busy and feeling a little under the weather.  On 12/16/19, I decided to just plain do a candle each for me and for my partner, and WITHIN THE FIRST FIFTEEN MINUTES the partner brought in the day’s mail, which contained a holiday card with an unexpected check for $5,000.00 for me.  It seemed like an obvious reminder to do the candles even if life seems too busy or if my health feels droopy, as can happen in extreme cold sometimes.  I will let my regular clients know when the service resumes, and I think it will be fairly soon.  I’m sorry there has been a break from doing them and look forward to resuming them soon.

REMINDER OF NEW EMAIL ADDRESS!

Published September 16, 2019 by Donnalee of Kingston NY

Since my business cards have my old email address on them, some folks are still trying to reach me that way, but I do not get those emails. PLEASE ONLY CONTACT ME AT LAUGHINGDAKINI@TWC.COM and not my old email address which is still on some of the business cards. The current one gets checked every day. Any other email is no longer current for me and I can’t access them.

Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon.

best wishes

Great weekend at the Readers Studio with many great folks

Published May 1, 2019 by Donnalee of Kingston NY

I spent this past Thursday through Sunday at The Tarot School’s Readers Studio in NYC, created by the wonderful Ruth Ann and Wald Amberstone with Lelia and Irene, who were all in attendance. It was so great to see old friends and to spend time with and learn from many excellent teachers and authors, as well as from many ‘plain old folks’, those of us who are not in those official big-cheese categories. Main speakers included Rana George, Heatherleigh Navarre, Carrie Paris, George Koury, Sasha Graham, and Ethony, who all gave great presentations and were available all weekend to chat with and get insights from. Since I am not a selfie person, I didn’t wind up in many of those, but there are many lovely photos online about the event. I also had an opportunity to get a really great private reading from Gina Thies, whom I love. It was very worthwhile and highly recommended. It was also so great to spend time with folks like Beth Owl’s Daughter whom I usually know through her great blog, and Sheilaa Hite whose work I love and whom I have had some great times dancing with in past years. Local luminary Robert M. Place was in attendance with his scholarly and beautiful art, decks, and books, and there were maybe 250 more folks whose names I will not glaringly name-drop here, since I either spent little time with them or they are private folks.

Most exciting for me now is that my book is really coming along, and there is interest from at least one publisher, so I am thrilled and have incentive to keep working on it hours and hours a day, which I am doing. A little support group of published authors led by Kooch N. Daniels and her husband Victor Daniels and including a few of us who are unpublished was started, and now it feels great to have some support plus some accountability. I’ll keep you posted!

Positive feedback on candle service and health situation

Published April 10, 2019 by Donnalee of Kingston NY

From client whose father had severe lung infection. The candle was done on his behalf 4/7/19, and this email arrived to me 4/10/19; used with permission:

“Thanks for doing the one for my dad! It really helped!
He’s way better than he was!”

Client feedback on candle service

Published April 10, 2019 by Donnalee of Kingston NY

For candle done on 4/9/19, feedback received 4/10/19 and used with permission:

I wrote to client 4/9/19 about candle that finished up 5:30 pm eastern standard time (10:30 pm in their time zone):
“Your candle finished up with a bit of a meltdown, so I hope you’re doing okay.”

The client’s reply:
“no unfortunately I wasn’t ok last night.
I am better this morning though so the candle must’ve helped!”

Today’s feedback on candle service and empathy

Published March 25, 2019 by Donnalee of Kingston NY

When I prepared the candle for a clients’ system today (3/25/19), it felt so frantic energetically that it almost gave me convulsions so I chose a mellow pale yellow candle to express the energy peacefully and it felt much better by the time it was finished. Email exchange used with permission. I wrote initially:

“I just started your candle. What a busy frantic day it feels like! I hope you are well.

best wishes
Donnalee”

Client reply:
“I am ok thanks! I am busy though! You’re not wrong! The day has been manic! therapy and then work!
now just home an hour ago, have eaten dinner and am now relaxing and about
to hop in a bubble bath!”

More feedback about me being a body empath while doing the candles

Published March 23, 2019 by Donnalee of Kingston NY

Email exchange yesterday about a candle I burned 3/22/19 for a blind client with a severe abuse history, used with permission. I (Donnalee) experienced the physical feelings myself and wrote:

Trigger warning for question about
abuse detail
.
.
They used to pick you up by the neck
somehow into the air? Is that true?
What a scary thing. I hope I am
wrong about that, but it felt like someone
was doing it to me, some sort of being
in the air with some fabric or
something at the neck, clothing or
something tied, so I am guessing they had
done it to you.

best wishes
Donnalee

The reply from the client:

trigger talk of abuse details given.

yes. that’s true. they would do all
sorts to us. they’d think up things.
picking us up and holding us upside
down in the air was just one thing they
did. holding us with rope or something
like rope dangling us in the air. it
was awful.
